Beit known that I, NELSON SANFORD STEW- ART, a citizen of the United States, residing at Amsterdam, county of Montgomery, State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to he Wrought into Carpetings, in such coloring as may he designed; and I do hereby declare that the illustration accompanying this specifica tion gives and conveys to any one skilled in the art of carpet Weaving and manufacture a clear understanding of the same and is sufficient to enable such person to use my invention.

What l claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
