DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 23,275, dated May 15, 1894. Application filed March 30, 1894. Serial No. 505,774. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that I, BENJAMIN 1. Mom, a citizen of the United States, residing at B rookyn, in the county of Kings and State of New fork, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing the same.

Figure 1, is an elevation of the bottle showing my design, as viewed from the front left;

hand corner thereof, in Fig. 2. Fig. 2, is a plan view, looking downward on the stopper of the bottle.

The leading feature of my design consists in three vertical grooves or recesses, made up the two sides, and the back of the bottle, from its base to and running out into the contracted parts near the neck, the front of the bottle being an uninterrupted slightly oval surface, but the sides and rear of the bottle are broken up and their contour changed by reason of the valley or groove running vertically therein, whereby, generally speaking, the sides and rear of the bottle present the appearance of columns, vanishing into each other.

In the drawings, A represents the stopper of the bottle, covered with kid.

B represents the neck and O, the body of the bottle. The front of the bottle is shown at D, and it presents a smooth, vertical surface, somewhat oval or rounding laterally.

E, E represent the coin nin-like rear portions of the bottle.

F, F, F show the vertical valleys or grooves running from the base to and vanishing into the contracted part of the neck.

In Fig. 1, it will be observed that the base of the bottle is rounded as at G, G, whereby it is made to coincide in appearance with the reducing section G G, where the bottle contracts to form the neck.

I claim- The design for a bottle, substantially such as herein shown and described.
