SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,697, dated August 15, 1893. Application filed June 19, 1893. Serial No. 478,172- Term of patent 3% years.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PHILIP II. FRASER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bayonne, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Sleeve-Buttons or Like Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a plan view of the design applied to a button and Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the same on line 1-1.
The essential feature of the design consists of the simulation of a shell, decorated by the representation of a caravel and a rope or cable.
In the drawings A is the head of the button formed with a scalloped beveled margin an and with a scroll b at its lower edge, through which extend the ends of the cable-like band 0.
The face of the head A within the scallops is 20 PHILIP II. FRASER.
