DESIGN FOR AN EMBROIDERY FABRIC.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,553, dated June 27, 1893. Application filed April 27,1893. Serial No. 472.129- Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, JULIUS FRELLQEHR, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York city, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for an EmbroideryFab1-io,0f which the following is a specification.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawing forming a part of this specification, in which the figure is a plan View of an embroidery fabric showing my design.

The leading feature of my design consists in braids or strips A forming a background, ornamented on top with a raised network B of the novel design shown. The network is formed by individual threads arranged in a zig-zag line on the braids or strips, the apices of two adjacent threads overlapping and extending across each other, the crossing angles of the zigzag lines thus forming small figures at such angles as plainly shown in the drawing. The overlapped apioes of the network threads are again overlapped by a binding thread 0, as shown.

I claim- The design for an embroidery fabric as herein shown and described.
