CHARLES C. VVIENTGE, OF PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, ASSIGNOR TO THE I'IOVVARD STERLING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A BACK FOR TOILET BRUSHES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,355, dated April 18, 1893.
Application filed February 8, 1893. Serial No. 461,522. Term of patent 7 years.
To aZZ whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, CHARLES C. WIENTGE, of Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Backs of Toilet Brushes, the, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 of the drawings represents the back of a toilet brush illustrating my new design. Fig. 2 represents a cross-sectional view of the same on line a:a; of Fig. 1.
The leading features of my design for the backs of toilet brushes, &c., consist in the symmetrical outline of the convex-back with a vietors wreath raised from the central portion thereof in bold relief.
No. 2 in the drawings indicates the convexback of a brush. Raised in bold relief from this convex-surface is a wreath formed by a combination of the graduated clusters 3-3 of simulated laurel leaves interspersed with the berries 4.4 and joined together at the junction of two of these clusters by the representation of a ribbon which has the loops 5-5 extending within the wreath and the flowingends 7 and 8 depending from the wreath.
What I claim is- The design for backs of toilet brushes, &c., as herein shown and described.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand.
CHARLES C. WIENTG-E.
