To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY W. WATSON, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of h'litchellsburg, Boyle county, in the State of Kentucky, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Catch for Windows, &c., of which the following is a specification.
Figures 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, repre sent perspective views showing the respective sides of a catch having the peculiar shape or configuration which constitutes my design.
The leading features of this design are a hatchet-shaped or triangular portion and a relatively large circular portion at the respective extremities of a body of bell-crank shape. Said triangular portion is shown at a, a portion of one side being defined by a dotted line. Said circular portion is shown at b, and the extremities of said body of bell-crank shape, which merge into the upper side of said triangular portion at a short distance from its vertical side as viewed in the figure and into one edge of said circular portion in line with its horizontal diameter, are shown, respectively, at c and (1. Another circular portion at the angle of said body of bell-crank shape is represented at e, eountersinks in its respective sides are represented at f and g in the respective figures, and a central hole therein is represented at 74. Said circular portions 1) and e are preferably three times as thick as said triangular portion a and said portions 0 and (l, and said vertical side of said triangular portion a is tangential to said circular portion 0.
Having thus set forth my said design, I claim and desire to patent under this specification- The design for a catch, shown and described.
