To all whom t muy concern.-
Be it known that I, EMIL G. SAVER, of the city of Brooklyn, county ot Kings, and State of New York, have invented n new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompany ng photograph, which forms n part of the same.
The invention relates to n design to be Worked into or upon surfaces, suoli as carpets orsimilar fabrics; nud it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein Specifically shown and claimed.
The accompanying photograph is e face View of a carpet, showing my new design.
My design consists of body part A and a border B. iody part A consists of n single pnnsy and stem plut-od in ditcrenl positions, rogulnrly, on n dmnask groundwork of pansy-leaves- Border parl B consists of n main band with same effect ns body part A and an outer edge of grouped pansies separated from main hnnd by corni and shells.
What I clnini as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. The design for carpets, consisting of the body part A, substantially as shown.
2. The design for carpets, consisting ot' the border 13, substantially :is shown.
