DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,467, dated December 3, 1889.

Application filed September 18, 1889- Serial No. 324,359. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that We, Isaac B. Resort and HARRY P. PFLUM, both citizens of the United States, residing at Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and original Design for a cat ing-Stove; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, reference being had to 10 the annexed photographic illustration, which forms part of this specification.

Our invention comprises certain new and original elements for the design of a heating;- stove, one of these novel features being the ornamented side panel A of the ash-box,

which panel has near its upper edge a longitudinal swell or molding B, of any desired curvature, the opposite ends of said swell being provided with scrolls O 0'. Furthermore,

this panel is furnished with a central shell D, supported at its sides by scroll ornaments E E.

The second part of our invention includes the scroll ornaments H on the fire door or doors, as such doors are frequently duplicated on heatingstoves.

The third part of our invention includes the scroll ornaments I on the crowning surface of the top plate J.

0 The fourth part of our invention includes the ornaments on the dome-shaped top K, which ornaments consist of rounded corrugations L, running from the base up toward the apex of said dome, flat ribs M being located at suitable intervals between these corrugations.

The fifth part of our invention comprises all the above-described ornaments in the various castings for a heating-stove, including with said ornaments the flutes N of the firebox.

We claim as our invention l. The design for a side panel of a heatingstove ash-box, as herein shown and described, the same consisting of the plate A, having a longitudinal swell B near its upper edge, scrolls C at the ends of said swell, a central shell D below said swell, and scrolls E E at the sides of said shell.

2. The design for the fire-door of a heating- 5o stove, as herein shown and described, the same consisting of the scroll ornaments H.

3. The design for the main top plate of a heating-stove,as herein shown and described. the same consisting of the scroll ornaments l.

4. The design for the dome-shaped top of a hentingstove, as herein shown and described, the same consisting of rounded corrugations L, running from the base toward the apex of said dome, and flat ribs M, located at inter- 6o vals between said corrugations.

5. The design for aheatingstove, asherein shown and described, the same consisting of the ash-box-panel ornaments B C C D E E, the fluted fire-box N, the fire-door ornament-s H, the main top plate having the ornaments I, and the dome-shaped top having the ornaments L M.
