DESIGN FOR A COMB.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,123, dated May 28, 1889. Application filed April 25, 1889. Serial No. 303,619. Term oi'patent 3% years.
To on whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ABIJAH WALLACE, a, citizen of the United States, residing at Strandsburg, in the county of Monroe and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Backs of Combs; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which a side view of the comb is represented.
The leading feature of my design consists in the representation of a, nude or semi-nude human figure formed in relief upon the back of the comb, and from substantially the median line of the body the teeth of the comb project. The figure is disposed lengthwise of the comb.
In the accompanying drawing, a is the back of the comb, having the form of the human figure thereon in relief.
I) are the teeth of the comb.
I claim- The design for the backs of combs and like articles herein shown and described, the same consisting in the outline and conformation of the human body longitudinally disposed on the back of the comb, and from substantially the median line thereof the teeth of the comb project, substantially as set forth.
