Be it known that 1, Fritz Westernacher, a citizen of Germany, residing at New York city, in the county of New York, in the State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Merchandise Display Stand or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of 'a merchandise display stand or similar article, showing my new design;

Figure 2 is a rear elevation of the stand shown in Figure 3;

Figure 3 is a top plan view of the stand; and

Figure 4 is a side elevation of the stand shown in Figure 3.
