UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE SELF-ADJU STING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE SHIELD John L. Paul, Los Angeles, Calif., assignor to Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Burbank, Calif.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, John L. Paul, a citizen 01' the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Self-Adjusting Personal Protective Shield, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a, part hereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a self-adjusting personal protective shield showing my new design;

Figure 2 is a side elevational view thereof;

Figure 3 is a front elevational view thereof;

Figure 4 is a bottom plan view thereof; and

Figure 5 is a. top plan view thereof.

The dotted indications of the tie strings shown in Fig. 1 are for illustrative purposes only.

I claim: The ornamental design for a self-adjusting personal protective shield, as shown and described.
