UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A COVERED RECEPTACLE FOR PREPARING AND SERVING FOOD Myron J. Zimmer, Vlood Dale, Ill., assignor to Ekco Products Coinpany, Chicago, 111., a corporation of Illinois To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Myron J, Zimmer, a citizen of the United States, residing at Wood Dale, in the county of Du Page and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Covered Receptacle for Preparing and Serving Food, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of a covered receptacle for preparing and serving food showing my new design.

Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof.

Fig. 3 is a side elevational view showing the article when turned through an angle of 90 degrees about its upright axis relative to the position thereof as shown in Fig. 1.

Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the handle member projecting upwardly from the cover, taken along line 44 of Fig. 2.

The dominant feature of the design resides in the portion shown in full lines.

The ornamental design for a covered receptacle for preparing and serving food, as shown and described.
