JOHN MOO. WATSON, OF PITTSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A CASTER-BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,791, dated February 21, 1882. Application filed January 18, 188:2. Term of patent 31 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN M00. WATsoN, of Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a' new and useful Improvement in Designs for Caster- Bottles; and I do hereby declare the following to be afull, clear, and exactdescription thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which Figure l is a side elevation, and Fig. 2 a vertical section, of a caster-bottle made after my improved design.
Like letters of reference indicate like parts in each.
I form the lower part of the bottle-preferably the lower three-fifths of its lengt-hof a pear-shaped bulb form, a, with a flat bottom, I). The upper part of said bulb merges into a ring, a, which is preferably at about three fifths of the height of the bottle. From the ring 0 to the shoulder d the sides are concave, as at c, and on the top of the shoulder is the mouth f, which is either of screw form for the application of a screw-cap, g, or of lip form for the reception of a stopper, h.
I propose to apply this design to caster-bot tles generally, and also to other articles of ta ble-ware not used in a caster-stand.
My design is plain and handsome.
\Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for caster-bottles, substantially as described and shown.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set 5 my hand this 13th day of January, A. D. 1882.
