Be it known that I, DAVID yMGNAIR, of Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a eertain new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a speeieation.

This design is fully shown in the accompanying photographie illustration, forming part of this specification. y

The design is composed of a ground or body havin gregular geometric ornamentation thereon, the detached irregular figures A, B, C, and D, resembling lattice-Work, and the vine-like ornamentation havin gleaves and owers thereon intertwined with the lattice-work gures 15 and arranged upon the ground, as shown.

I claim- The design for a carpet, substantially as shown and described.
