PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A TEXTILE FABRIC Edwin Bry, Elberon, N. J., assignor to Edwin &
Louis Bry, Inc., New York, N. Y., a corporation of New York To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Edwin Bry, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Elberon, in the county of Monmouth and Stateof New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Textile Fabrics, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The figure of the drawing is a plan View of the fabric, showing my design.
My design comprises a fabric having a contrastingly colored background and a series of parallel stripes thereupon, comprised of diagonally arranged narrow stitch-formed bands; each stripe comprising a multiplicity of shades of the same color. In each stripe the color varies and is relatively evenly graduated from an extremely dark shade at one edge of the stripe to an extremely light shade of the same color a the opposite edge of said stripe.
The order of the gradation of shades in each stripe is the reverse of the order of the gradation of shades in the next adjacent stripe. Accordingly, the dark area of each stripe lies adjacent the dark area of the next adjacent stripe, Similarly, the light area of each stripe lies adjacent the light area of the next adjacent stripe.
The different shades of each stripe are varying shades of the same or related colors which are contiguous on the color scale when graded according to the light-wave lengths.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a textile fabric, as shown and described.
