Be it known that I, Lawrence WilsonSaulsbury, a citizen of the United States and residing at Valley Stream, New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Mechanical Pencil or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to'the accompanying'drawing, forming partthereof, and

in which I Fig. 1 is a side elevational'view of a mechanical pencil, showing my new design, and

Fig.2 is a development of the barrel of the -mechanical pencil, but shown on a somewhat enlarged scale. I

The dominant features of my design reside in the parts shown in full' lines.

I claim:

The'ornamental design for a mechanical pencil or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
