PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A BUILDING Application January 15, 1938, Serial No. 74,327
Term of patent 14 lyears To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Edward C. Gledhill, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Galion, in the county of Crawford and State of Ohio, have invented a new, originaL'and ornamental Design for a Building, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the .accompanying drawing, forming a `part thereof.
In the drawing:
Figure 1 is a perspective View of the building showing my new design.
Figure 2 is a top plan View thereof.
The sides of the building opposite those shown in Figure 1 of the drawing are identical in appearance to said sides shown except that windows, but no doors, are provided in the sides not shown.
The essential features of the invention comprise a building which is rectangular in top plan and has side Walls: which are inclined upwardly and inwardly and set off by border strips and transversely extending strips midway of their height. The roof is of frusto-pyramidal formation and has upstanding strips along each of its side edges and its lower edges, lower portions of the roof being projected outwardly beyond the walls to form eaves. At the top of the roof is a concentrically disposed cupola having the shape of a short pyramid which has marginal portions of its bottom overhanging the top of the roof, and along its sides are upstanding strips alined with the side strips of the roof.
