DESIGN FOR CARPETS.

Specification forming part f Design No. 10,205, dated September 4, 1877; application filed August 20, 1877. [Term of Patent 34, years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY HORAN, of East Orange, Essex county, and State of New Jersey, have invented or produced a new and original Design fora Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and are sufficient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
