DESIGN FOR CASSIMERES.

Specification forming part of Design No. 10,091 dated July 10, 1877; application filed June 16, 1877. [Term of Patent 3-} years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, OSCAR F. CHASE, of Thompson, in the county of Windham and State of Connecticut, have originated and designed a Style for Cassimeres; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, which form a part of this specification.

A represents a double stripe, formed by three narrow stripes running warpwise, and two wider stripes, also running warpwise, composed of very narrow diagonal stripes, the whole striping the pattern lengthwise.

B represents a very wide stripe, formed by a double diagonal weave or cords, and the interspaces so woven as to resemble spots or raised dots, giving an etfect by contrast with stripe A not produced by a similar stripe of like character, and striping the pattern lengthwise.

I claim as my in vention- The design as above described, and shown by photograph.
