The body portion 4 provided with an enlargement 5, the latter having a reduced portion (3 provided externally with a thread. The annular supporting member 7, made preferably of fiber so as to afford both'insulation and resilience, is threaded inter nally and fitted upon the reduced portion-*6. 'lhis annular supporting member is provided externally with facets 8 for engaging any surface 9 upon which it may be desirable to support the receiver. A'cap 10'is provided internally with a thread 11, and adapted to fit upon the reduced portion 6. The supporting member 7-is thus held in position partly by the action of itspwn thread (see Fig. 3), and partly by the pressure of the cap 10. At the opposite end of the body portion 4, another annular supporting member 12, smaller than-the member.7', is placed. This member 12 isprovided with facets 1'2 and is threaded internally; it is also fitted upon a reduced "portion 13, the.
latter being threaded. An end piece 14 is provided with a central opening 15, and with a shoulder l6, the latter being adapted to engage the end of the reduced portion 13. The end piece, 14 is threaded internally so as to fit upon the reduced portion 13. This construction enables the end piece to grip the supporting member 12 firmly in osition, and to hold it by a clamping grip :unlcpendently of the tendency of the supporting member 12 to hold itself by its own threads upon the reduced portion 13.

3. A receiver casing comprising a body member provided with a reduced portion, a member of resilient-material encircling said reduced portion, and-a cap for holding said. member of resilient material against said body member.
