To all whom it may con-corn Beit known that I, J AMns M. FORD, of Brooklyn, in the countyr of Kings, and State of N ew York; have invented a new and valuable Improvement in-Sash- Cord Guide-Blocks; and I do here-by declare that the following isa full, clear, and exact description of the Aconstruction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, and to the letters and figures of ret'- erence marked thereon.
Figure 1, of the drawing, is a longitudinal central section of my invention;

My invention relates to a means for supporting and guiding the balance-cords of windows; 'and consist-s, mainly, in the construction and novel arrangement of devices, whereby this object is satisfactorily attained.
yThe letter A, of the drawings, represents the guideblock, which is a cylindrical tube of hard Wood, metal, glass, or any other suitable material.
