This invention relates to a new and usefulV improvementin' ad-vertisingdevices or the like and particularly in advertising devices or the like adapted to be sent'through the mails. l

lThe objects of my invention are to pro vide a device of the kind stated comprising generally 'a letter-sheet and a post-card, in

y which..theletter-sheet is not only adapted -to colpi/ey the communication, advertisement,

or other matter, but is also adapted to serve as aholder or carrier for the post-card, and

in which the post-card, while bearing other matter, 1f desired, is adapted tobear es.- pecially the nameand address of the person fto whom the device :is to be. sentv and to be so carried by the tlette'nsheet that, when the letter-.sheet is folde .and the post-card is in proper. position, thel "device is in condition to bei at once sent through. the mails; to provide a device of the kind stated lwhich is neat, simple, compact, and easily made at 'comparatively slight cost; and to improve generally upon devices of the kind stated.

Letter-sheet or folder A may 'be of any,

suitable size, as desired, and may be of any.

suitable material, preferably light cardboard or heavy paper. This sheet A is adapted torbe used to bear or convey the communication, advertisement, matter, suc-h communication or other matter being placed preferablyon the inner face of sheet A, see Fig. 3. The sheet A is or other adapted to be scored and folded transversely i on llines' l and 2, thereby providing the intermediate portion 3, lower-or under. flap 4,

and top or upper flap '5, top orupper flapv 5 being of somewhat less width than flap 4, so that, when said liaps are folded down upon said intermediate portion 3, the free edge 5a of top flap will be some little distance from the lower or bottom edge of flap l, thereby providing what might be lcalled a space 6, for purposes hereinafter appearing, see particularly Fig. l. Flap 4 is provided with-diagonally-disposed slits or cutsi' T, the space or distance between said 'slits or cuts depending upon the size of the post or other card.B to b'e used with'sheet A, these slits or cuts t1-7 being adapted to receive the lower corners 8 8 of Card B when said card isin position in the folder A. Flap 5, is'cut diagonally inwardly at `its free edge 5, thereby providing the intcgral, triangularly-shaped edge-fiaps ffl-9a, these edge-flaps )-.-9 being adapted, see /particularly Fig. l, to be inserted under card B at itsopposite side edges when said cardis in position in the folder A.
