` This invention pertains to apparatus for mechanicallyl setting ten-pins in the bowling alley, for clearing olf fallen pins, clearing the alley of the pins and re-setting the same. Most of the work is donev by mechanical means thrown lin and out of operation with continuously moving machinery at the will of the operator by-ineans of 'levers or other appliances ada-ptedto be operated with the hands or feet, the remainder of the Work being manual but cooperating with mechanical parts. Down pins are removed means of rods reaching through openings in the floor of the alley underneath-thesame, the
