To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, IsAAo BARNETT, a citizenof the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Bill Folds, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.

My invention relates especially to devices for carrying bank bills, cards, commutation tickets, etc., in the pocket, and has for its object the provision of a simple, cheap, convenient, compact device of this character.

To attain the desired end, my invention consists in certain novel and useful combinations or arrangements of parts, and peculiarities of construction and operation, all of which will be hereinafter first fully described, and then pointed out in the claim.

In the drawing, Figure 1 is a plan view of a holder embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal, sectional view at line a'a of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a vertical, cross-sectional view at line bb of the same, figure.

Similar numerals of reference, wherever they occur, indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.

1. is the back of the folder, made of leather, or any other preferred or appropriate material, such as leatherette, cloth, buckram, etc.

2 is the front folder.

8 is a longitudinal division between the back and front portion of the device, which may be opened at the top, as illustrated in Fig. 3 of thedrawing.

4 is a catch for holding the parts together above the partition 3.

Upon the front-piece 2 is secured a pocket portion of the body of the 5, having a front of transparent celluloid,

said pocket being open at 6 for the insertion or removal of a ticket, such as a. commutation ticket, the face of which may be examined Without removal from the pocket, and by locating said pocket at the end of the folder, only the fold containing such pockets will be displayed. The center of the front of the folder is provided with a pocket 8, secured only at the top and bottom, so the space back of it may be utilized, and such pocket 8 has a receptacle 9 for holding a removablebook, such as 10.

11 is a pocket for cards, open only at 12.

It will thus be seen that I have provided a simple, cheap, and effective bill folder, having a plurality of compartments for the reception of bills; means being provided for retaining said bills within the compartment; a ticket pocket, card pocket and a memoranduin book holder, all assembled ,in a compact manner.

Having now fully described my invention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:

As an article of manufacture, a bill fold in which is comprised a body having a compartment extending the entire length thereof. a longitudinal division therein of less height than the side walls of the compartment, a catch located above said div1si0n and adapted to secure the side walls together, and a plurality of transverse compartments carried at one side of the longltudinal body of the bill fold, substantially as shown and described.
