In carrying out the'objects of the invention generally stated above, it will, of course, be understood that the essential features thereof are susceptible of changes in details and structural arrangements, but a preferred and practical embodiment of the same is shown in the accompanying drawing, wherein Figure 1 is a view in side elevation of the improved comb. Fig. 2 is a central vertical sectional view thereof.
Referring to said drawing by numerals, it will be observed that the improved comb is composed of a hollow circular body 1, the outer surface of which is concaved as indicated at 2. The top 3 of said body is outwardly rounded to permit the top to be fitted Within the palms of the hands of the user with the fingers gripping said concaved surface, so that the body may be firmly held. The lower edge of said body carries a circular Specification of Letters Patent.

Renewed July 1, 1910. Serial No. 569,985.
row of teeth at which are preferably of a tapering formation.
The comb may be used for smoothing the hair, as will be obvious, but is of especial value for removing dandruff from the scalp as well as stimulating the scalp.
It will be seen that by means of the described shape of the body, said body may be fitted within the palm of the users hand with the fingers gripping the concaved side, so that the comb may be rubbed over the scalp by circular movements of the hand and thereby greatly facilitate the treatment of the scalp.
What I claim as my invention is l. A comb comprising a hollow body having a concaved outer surf-ace and an outwardly rounded top, and a circular row of {3685b projecting from the lower edge of said 2. A comb comprising a hollow circular body open at one end, and a circular row of teeth projecting from the open end of said body.
3. A comb comprising a body having an open end, and an endless row of teeth proj ecting from the open end of said body.
In testimony whereof I hereunto aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
