To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD J. CORRIGAN, a citizen of the United States, and resident of East St. Louis, Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Adjustable Shade-Roller and Curtain Fixtures, of which the following is a specification containing a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.

My invention relates to improvements in adjustable shade roller and curtain fixtures, the object of my invention being to construct a fixture of this class which is provided with means for securing it in placewithout the use of nails or screws and arranged to support a shade roller fixture in such manner as to be longitudinally adjustable and the curtain pole fixture vertically adjustable.

2 designates the body portion of my improved fixture having an integral, rearwardly, projecting clamping jaw 3, a portion of the material of said jaw being bent at substantially right angles to the body portion 2 to forni a brackett, which bracket is perforated at 5. The upper and lower margins of the body portion 2 are crimped or turned to form channels 6, the outer ends of said crimped portions being turned at right angles to the body portion 2 and in an opposite direction from the jaw 3 and their? extremities turned into eyes 7, the lowermost eye being provided with threads arranged to receive the set screw 8.

Throughout the description of this fixture I have referred only to one fixture. It is :to be understood, however, that' the fixtures are in pairs, one the exact counterpart of the other and that the fixtures are so constructed thatthey may be used on either facing of a window opening by simply inverting one relative to the other. Y.

In securing theV fixture in place upon a window facing the jaws 3 and 10 overlap the margins of thefacing and said jaws Yare drawn up and securely clamped to the facing by the thumb screws 12.' The shade roller fixtures are then inserted in the channels 6 and the curtain pole fixtures 16 are then inserted in the eyes 7 and securedin place by the thumb screws 8. j

If it be desired to remove the entire lixture from the facing the thumb screws 12 are turned outwardly, the springs 13 serving to spread the jaws 3 and 10 apart. Thus, the entire fixture is secured in place without the employment of iextraneous devices entering into or marring said facing and are readily removed from said facing.

I claim: .7.

' 1. A combined shade roller and curtain pole fixture, having a body portion, the upper and lewer margins of which are turnedzto form channels, a plate embraced Thisextra space in the channelsE ESO ' by said channels, jaws carried by said body portion and plate, a thumb screw carried by said body portion and plate for drawing said `iaws together, integral means carried by said body portion for supporting a curtain pole lixture, and a shade roller ixture embraced and frictionally held against movement in said channels by said margins.

2. As a new article of manufacture, a combined curtain pole and shade roller fixture support comprising a body portion having an integral jaw, the upper and lower margins ot' said body portion turned to form channels, a plate having an integrall jaw embraced by said channels, an integral bracket carried by said body portion an internally threaded ear carried by said plate a thumb screw carried by said bracket and ear, the ends of the material of said body port-ion forming said channels being ex tended and turned at right angles to the body portion and eyes formed in their extremities, one of which is provided with a threaded aperture and a set screw carried by said threaded aperture.

3. As a new article of manufacture, a combined curtain pole and shade roller fixture support, comprising a body portion having an integral rearwardly projecting jaw, a portion of the material of which jaw is struck out and turned at an angle relatively to the body portion and perforated, the upper and lower margins of the body portion being turned to form channels, the ends of said turned portions being extended and turned at right angles to the body portion, there being eyes formed in the extremities of said turned portions and a set screw carried by one of said eyes, a plate embraced by said channels, an integral jaw carried by vsaid plate, an integral, perforated car carried by said plate, a thumb screw carried by the portion struck from the first mentioned jaw and the ear on said plate and an extensile coil spring embracing said thumb screw.
