This block permits the formation of a sinnous body which, as will be readily appreciated, is advantageous in making up outlines of animals or the like.

As a new article of manufacture, a toy building-block provided upon each face with two `intersecting grooves, the corresponding grooves of the various faces merging into l each other and thereby forming a series of continuous grooves, the block being likewise provided "with a socket at each point of intersection of the grooves; a` plurality of intersecting openings extending through the block, said openings terminating in the sockets; andy a hook-shaped member overlying -eachend of 'each' opening. 11.
