Newark, inthe county of Wayne and State, of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Lamp-Wicks, which im,-

T is invention relates to.certain` new' anduseful improvements in wicks `for lamps and it hasV for its objects among others to proyvide a wick=that will produce a clearer fiume and which will not smoke even when vturned down low in the wick tube. Y

It has for a lfurther object to provide a wick so rotected that it will lnot ch'ar or waste an -which will burnfor months without necessitatingany trimming. l
