Should, however. the main fastening or holding tongue be aeeidentallv bent up during transit in the mails. rendering the eover liable to eome oil", the bending up of the main tongue wilt eause the auxiliary tongue to be bent or int-lined outwardly against the inside of the eover of the box, as

Having thus deseribed my invention what I elaim is:--
In eombinat'ion with a box and its cover having a slit therein. a fastener seeured to the box and having a foldabl e eover engaging tongue passing through the slit, said fastener having an integral auxiliary tongue for engaging the inside faee of the cover, said auxiliary tongue having its base in proximity to the line of fold of the main tongue whereby it will be moved outward into engagement with the eover when the main tongue is straightened, substantially as deseribed.
