To whom it may concern Be it known that we, SOLOMON A. ALEXANDER and EDWARD DUNN, machinists, of Sunbury, county of Northum'berland, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Machine for the Purpose of Moving Cross-Heads on Locomotive and other Engines, and which we term a Self-Sustaining Rest for Moving Oross-Heads; and we do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact deseription of the construction and operation of the same,
