Similar numerals refer to similar parts throughout the several views. In carrying out my invention, I employ a bottle of suitable size such as is indicatedat 1, said bottle being provided in its neck portion with a detachable cork or closure plug 2, which' is adapted, as shown, to project above the bottle mouth, Through the center of the cork is formed'a vertical opening 2a which communicates with a dish-like depression 2" in the upper end of the cork. This dish-like de ression forms a seat for l)y shaped and Haring head or mouth-piece 3a of a vertical dropper tube 3, said tube and head preferably being formed' of glass or other transparent material. This tube extends downward, as shown, through the opening 2a of the closure plug 2 and has its lower termination tapered to form the usual medicine dropper terminal,

, It will be understood that the cap member 5 hasits rim portion enlarged or thickened as indicated at -`5b and that said rim portion is of such circumference as to permit of its being sprung 'or of the cap member 3*. en the cap is in the position'shown in Fig. 2 of the drawing, it will be understood Vthat by pressingdownward on the cap', the air will be expelled from the tube 3,into the bottle and tha\L when the pressure on the ca is released, the liquid within the bottle, w be drawn into the tube from which it may be dispensed through the opening in the lower end thereof, by withdrawing said tube, together with the cork 2, from the'bottle and again pressusual manner -of operating medicine droppers. .I-Iowever, owing to the employmentY of the graduation marks on the tube body it will be understood that the amount o liquid discharged from tube may be regulated. From the construction described, it be seen that a simple and reliable medicme dispensing device isprovided, which when not in use may not only be closed at its up-Y per end, but which will have its glass mouth- "piece protected from danger ofdnjury.
It is evidentthat 'the tube -may have its head portion 3a supported above the cork 2 if desired, by drawing the tubular body upwardthrough the central opening 'of the 1. In a medicine dispenser, the combinaltion with liquid holding receptacle, and a 75 sngped over the rim tube extendingthrough said cork, a flexible cap adapted to be detachably connected with the upper end of said tube, said cap having a central stopper projection which when the cap is inverted is adapted to close the upper end of said tube.
