and exact description thereof', due reference being had t0 the accompanyingV drawing, making part of this specication, and in which- Figure l is a longitudinal section of my invention. Figure 2, a perspective representation of the apparatus connected with a bottle orother vessel.
The invention for which I desire to secure Letters By this arrangement, as shown in the accompany-y ing drawings, great convenience is attained, with certainty of action. It is very simple, never liable to be out of order, and is very cheap.
In the drawings, to which allusion has before been made as accompanying this specification, the bottle or other vessel charged with carbonate of liquid is represented at A, into the cork of which is screwed an ordinary cha1npagneiltucet, B, except that itsupper end is provided withva screw to receive the metallic end of the flexible tube C, the opposite end of 'which is ttedwith a syringe-nozzle, or sprinkler; D, of any required form.
The vessel charged with carbonate of liquid may -gbe charged and 'transported or stored inany convenient vessel, being 'iitted with a cork, lVhenever it is to be used, the faucet is screwed into the cork, and, by turning the cock a, the carbonate of liquid may be injected, or used to wash sores, wounds, or for any purpose desirable in medical practice.
Thus, by theuse of my invention, the carbonate of liquid may be administered direct from the original package, without any complicated or inconvenient apparatus.
