The object ot invention is to prov-ide a burial vault of this character ,v'iiicli will be simple and inerii'iensive in Construction and into which wat n' eannotenter and come in contant with the casket which it inoloses.

While the base 2 may be of auf)T desired 'form and construction which Will provide air spaces or chambers in the bottom 'of the body and allow water to drain from the bottoni of the body, l preferably make it of a 'plurality of tubular drain tiles l0.
