Be it known that I, ERNST Wiss, a subject of the `German Emperor, and residingV ait Griesheim-on-the-Ma1n, Germany, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Devices'for SeveringMetal Bodies,
This invention relates tolapparatus for severingmetals by means ofa flame assisted by a jet of oxygen.
I will describe this inventionwith reference to the accompanying drawing, Figures l and 2 being elevations at rightangles' to` each other. y lThe apparatus is provided with two nozzles, through one of which (that marked a) forms the heating medium, while through the .other nozzle b issues a jet of oxygen. Having now particularly descrlbed and ascertained the nature of my said invention A and in what manner the same is to -be performed, I declare that what I claim isz- 1.
