This invention relates to a rail joint, and the primary objects of my invention are, first, to provide u strong und durable connection for the confronting ends of two railssecond, to dis ense with the use of nuts and bolts as a1 me lum-for connecting rails; and third7 to provide :i novel rail chair that will prevent lateral and vertical dis )lacement of the confronting ends of two railis. v
I attain the above objects by a rail joint that will be presently described and then elaiined. l
