This invcntion is illustrated and (lesoribod in an application for licttcrs Patent iilcd by me September 25, 1906, scrially numbcrcd 336,646, and is divided out of such application.
In the construction of the apparatus as shown, a scow Q is moored in a strcani or body of water covering a bed or natural drposit of sand, and a pump-house 51 is (iitll'ltll on said scow. A pump 52 is carr ed by tho scow within the house .51 and is driven by any dvsircd. power, in this instance by an en ginc'in thc puinp-housc fed by steam through a. pipe 53 from a boiler or boilers in house 54 on tbc HllOi'l of tho stream or body of water.
