MUSICAL INSTRUMENT.
The Schedule referred to in these Lettera Patent `and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern Be it known tbatI, FREDERICK SU'rnn, of Williams-A burg, Kings county, New York, have invented a new and improved Musical Instrument; and I 'do hereby declare that the following is :i full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use'the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which-'- t Figure 1 represents an end elevation of' my improved musical instrument.. This invention relates to a new musical apparatus which is operated by means of keys 0n a finger-board, like a piano-flirte.
The in vention consists in hanging a series of sonorous metallic disks in inclined positions upon horizontal arms projecting,r from the flame-work, and adapted to be struck from below by any suitable mechanism, as will be hereinafter more fully described.
