To all whom t may concern Be itknown that I, WILLIAM VEBER, J r., of Shingle, Creek, in theI county of St. Lawrence, and State of New York, have invented a new and improved Vegetable- Knife; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of. this specification. l
This invention relates to improvements in knives, intended to adapt them for paring vegetables, such as have depressions in their surfaces, especially potatoes,

Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
In paring with the common knife, it is very difficult to cut out the eyes of potatoes, or rotten spots in applesand other vegetables, Without cutting away and wasting considerable portions of the best substance.
To provide an implement to accomplish this without waste, I propose to form the c urved bits A B at the end of the common case-knife blade, by which the surfaces of the said depressions may be readily pared,
