To all 'whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM T. WIGH'I- MAN, ya citizen of the United States, residing at Half Moon Bay, in the county of San Mateo and State of California, have invented certain new and `useful Improvements in Building-Blocks and Walls Constructed Thereof, of which the following is a speciiication.
My invention relates to building walls which-may be locked much more rapidly and with considerable less expense than the usual method of erection between wooden forms. l
My invention further relates to a building wall of the spaced block type, suitably reinforced, a plastic filling inl order that the same may be ready to receive a suitable facing as soon as the blocks are in position.
My invention further relates to a novel form of building block, to lbe used in building a wall as above mentioned, and of such form and construction as to engage and be locked with adjacent and facing blocks of the wall construction.
Myf invention further and specifically resides in the following features of construction, and arrangement, to be hereinafter described with reference to the accompanying 30 drawings forming a part of this specification, in which like numerals are used to designate like parts throughout the several figures, and in which,

In the practical embodiment of my inventlon, I provide a wall comprising a plurality of building` blocks, laid edge upon d edge in spaced lines, and provided with means to engage adjacent blocks, and with slots In their ends adapted to aline with the end slots of adjacent blocks to receive T- shaped bonds 6, alined betweenV opposing pairs of blocks 5 and connected by a relatively stiff Wire frame or webbing 7, bondingtwo lines o f blocks 5 to ether, while allowmg the plastic materialg 8 inserted beylveen stalud lines of locks, to commingle thererou 1 'Eac of the blocks5 comprising a rectanview of one of gular body portion having a longitudinal side shoulder 9, along its longitudinal sides and` approximately one-half the thickness thereof, each block having its shoulders 9 extending from adjacent opposing faces thereof, on each side. The blocks 5 are further provided with slots 10, cut longitudinally and centrally along the face thereof,
,and opening upwardly along the side face of the upper longitudinal shoulder 9. The lower shoulder 9 of each block having a small internal shoulder 11, forming the base of the slot 10, and the seat upon which one `of the flanges of the T-shaped bond 6, rests.
As has been'before stated, the opposing lines of building blocks 5, are filled therebetween with a plastic material 8, within which a reinforcing metallic frame 12, ex'- tending centrally between the lines of blocks 5, may be placed, in order to more thoroughly reinforce the construction.
Having fully described my invention, I claim:
' l. In a wall construction of the character described, the combination of spaced lines of building blocks, each having means-to engage the adjacent blocks above and below the same, and being provided with slots in their ends to aline with the end slots of the adjacent blocks, T-shaped bonds engaging within the alined end slots of adjacent ends of said blocks, said spaced lines of building blocks being provided with a plastic filling therebetween, and open wire frames connecting said bonding members'. adapted for the commingling of said plastic material therethrou h, substantially as described. i
2. building block of the character described, comprising a body portion having shoulders formed along the upper and lower sides thereof, extending from opposite faces of the block, said body portion being provided with slots in its ends opening upvwardly adjacent the upper shoulder thereof,
