In Figs. 1 and 2. the lower end of the hook-shank is shown rigidly secured to a support in the form of a snnii -vllipti ral spring (l midway botireen the ends ofsanw. these loose rods of the spring being provided with oars if that lap opposite, sidos of tho bar 11 to prevent displaoement of the spring and to guide the same in its expansion and contraction longitudinally of said bar.
