The device comprises a clip 1, jaws 2 and adapted to engage with the inner end of a cufi', whereas the jaws 2 and 3 grip the lining of the coat sleeve. The pressure pieces 4 and 5 enable the jaws to be separated either to release the lining or to permit of the lining being inserted between the jaws. v

' The clip com rises a base 6 and a hook or hill 7, the latter eing curved near its free end towards the base to provide a contracted throat to grip the cufi.
