IMPROVED FLQUR-SIITER.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, J AMES COYLE, of Boston, in the county of Suffolk, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and improved Flour-Sifter; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and ex act description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
This invention relates to improvements in flour-sifting apparatus,` such as used for silting and pulverizing the our previous to cooking.
It consists of a rectangular screen, arranged to slide to and fro on a frame, and provided with a set of crushing-rollers, suspended from the bed-frame within the said sieve, in contact with the bottom, so as to be rotated by the said bottom as the sieve is reciprocated, as will be hereinafter specified.
