To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, IGNATIUS LUoAs, of Passaic, in the county of Passaic and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and useful Erasing Instrument, of which the follow- Grinding an erasing knife, such as is now in general use, successfully one will find quite diflicult.
My invention relates to an improvement in an erasing instrument and the object of my invention is to produce an inexpensive erasing instrument that can be easily sharpened. I attain this object by an instrument illustrated in'the aecompanying drawing, in which Figure 1. is a side view of the instrument. Fig. 2. is a longitudinal cross section of the instrument. Fig. 3. is the bottom view. Fig. 4. shows the instrument as held on an oil stone in sharpening the said erasing instrument. Fig. 5. shows the instrument as attached to a pen holder.
