Be it known that l, JOILANN FEINENBURG, a citizen of German y, residing in the town of Auf der Hohe, near Solingen, Germany, have invented new and useful Improvements in Scissors, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to scissors and shears, the members of which are reinforced by steel cutting blades in such a manner that a positive contact between the two cutting blades is insured.
In the accompanying drawing: Figure is a plan of a pair of scissors embodying my invention; Fig. 2 a side view of the same; Fig. 3 a plan of one of the shearmembers, and Fig. 4 a side view thereof, partly in section. i
Each shear-member 1, made of comparatively soft metal, is provided with a steel cutting blade 2 secured thereto by rivets 3. Blade 2 extends beyond shear- Scissors composed of a pair of pivoted soft metal members, and steel blades secured thereto, said blades being provided with slots back of the pivot, and turned up tongues defined by said slots, substantially as specified.
