Be it known that i, MORRIS M. SCHWARTZ, a citizen of .the United States, and a resident of the town of North Bergen, in the county oi" Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and Improved Scale, ci' which Sur aces of the' members oi the scale from' friction with a drawing" and the Wear lconse- Iquent thereto, and 'toi avoid the necessity of raising the edges oi the scale lfrom a drawing, thereby oliviating the unsteadniess dueto lack of contact and the. errors frequently arising therefrom.
