To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that LELMER E.'FAIRCHILD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented new and useful Post-Card Frames or Mounts, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to post-card frames or mounts,- and the object thereof is to rovide a frame or mount for post-cards w ich will enable the card to be slipped in the frame or mount from the back without distorting the card or the face of the frame or mount, and although the frame or mount is designed articularly for post-cards, yet it is adapted or any purpose for which it may be found desirable.

A further object ofthe inventionis to provide means in a manner, as hereinafter set forth, to constitute a post-card frame or mount which when used will prevent distortion or damage to the card, as well as providing a means for preserving and framing it, and, furthermore, enabling the card when framed or mounted in said means to be sus-' pended or supported from or by the wall of a room or other object.

A further object of the invention is to provide a post-card frame or mount which shall be extremely simple in construction, strong, durable, comparatively inexpensive to manufacture, acting as. a means to preventdam: age to, and, furthermore, enhancing the -ap pearance of the card when framed or mounted.

With the foregoing and other objects in view the invention consists in the novel construction, combination, and arrangement ofparts, which will be hereinafter more specifically described, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein is shown the preferred embodiment of the invention; but it is to be understood that changes, variations, and modifications can be resorted to which come within the scope of the claims hereunto appended.

A frame or mount comprising a framesection consisting of a body portion provided with an opening and a air of end and side flaps, ear-h having their inner and outer faces cured to the outer face of the body portion, the inner folds projecting at right angles to the body portion and the intermediate folds extendin downwardly at an inclination from the inner to the outer folds, and a back section having marginal portions in one face thereof secured to the rear face of the bod portions, said back-section of greater widti and length than said opening and having an elongated 'slot to permit of the insertion of the post-card. i a
