-H The Schecule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part 0f the Balli@- Be it known that I, JAMES B. BROWN, of Peekskill, in the county of Westchester, and State of New York,
have invented a new and im proved Garden-Roller; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear,
The object of this invention is to so construct a gardei 1-roller, in vvhich Weights are suspended from the axle, that the said Weights can be readily taken off,
and replaced whenever desired, so that the roller can be made more or-less heavy at will, according to the kind of work to be done.
A, in the drawing, represents -the rim or shell of a garden-roller of ordinary' orsuitable construction. It is made of one or more sections, -as may be desired, each section being hung loose on the shaft B, so that it can turn on said shaft-without turning the latter.
