DIMOND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Toledo, in the county of Lucas and State of Obi Improvements in Brackets for Washstands; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference boing had to the accompanying' drawingsfand to the figures of reference marked thereon, which torlma part of this speciiicetion.

In the setting of washbowls plumbers encounter great diiliculty in securing the supports.i'oi.+he bowl, owing to the character of the brackets heretofore employed for this purpose. The setting of these brackets usually inars the plastering or wainscoting of the wall to which they are secured. Moreover,

On the downwardly-projecting threaded shank of the T-bolt next to the bottom/of the washstand-table is a leather washer 13. 14 is a nut on the threaded shank of the T-bolt between the washer 13 and the sleeve or socket-piece 15. This sleeve or socket-piece ts closely upon the outer end of the arm S. In the side of the piece 15 is tapped a threaded hole for the reception of the threaded end of the T-bolt 12.

The parts of Iriy device are assembled as follows: The plates 1 being secured in place with the open mouths of the wall-sockets 4 projecting outwardly, as above described, one end of the arms 8 is inserted into the sockets and Athere secured by means of the screw-threads 7. The heads of the T-bolts are next inserted through rectangular openings leading into recesses 11 and are givena quarter-turn. The nuts 14 are next tightened up upon washers 13, so that-the T-bolts are now immovably secured. The sleeves or j Hsocket-pieces 15 and the sleeves or rings 16- are next screwed upon the projecting threaded ends of the T-bolts in horizontal and-vertical alinement. Now the two sleeves or rings 16 are slipped over the two projecting 'arms 8, and-the outer extremities ofthe arms are entered into the openings oi the pieces 15.. In the inner sides of the sleeves or rings 16 are tapped threaded holes for the reception of set-screws 17. When these set-screws are roject slightly beyond the" IOC ` movement upon the arms and the device is now ready for connection with the supply-l pipes end wasteipe.

When the was stand is in place, es above stated, the supports are well under the side margins of' the top of the stand and are substantially ont of slght.

It will be seen that by means of the devices here described a Washstand may be quickly and easily put rigidly in place or removed Without inarring or destroying the plastering or wainscoting.
