Having thus described the inv ntion, what is claimed is-- 1. A binding-post provided with a wirereceiving seat, and a spring clamping mem ber detachably secured to the postend adupt ed to en. age the wire and having its free end extended to form a finger-piece 2. A binding-post provided with a wire-- receiving seat, and a spring clamping member eda )ted to engage the wire and having one en thereof extended to form a iin erpiece. said clamping member being Iocke in position by engagement with the binding post.
3. A binding-post provided with a reduced extension having an inolinod wirwrecciving seat opening through one well thereof, and it spring clamping member adapted to engage the wire and provided with a recess for the reception of said extension.
4. A binding-post provided with a shoulder defining a reduced extension having a Wire-receiving seat opening through one Wall thereof and inclined toward the base of the post, and wire lamping member mounted her having one end thereof l or vertical movement on the extension and adapted to cngage said shoulder.
5. A binding-post provided with a wirerceeiving seat and it spring clamping member havin one end thereof detochahly secured to t re post and its free end extended laterally for engagement with the wire.
6. A binding-post provided with u wirereeeiving sent, and a spring clamping memdetmihnbly eccured to the post and its opposite end ada ted to engage the wire and extendciil lateralllv to form it fmgenpieee.
