Beit known that I, WILLIAM G. Nacer., of Toledo, count of Lucas, and Stateof Ghio, have inventedY certain new and useful Ini- Records of Coin-Register Tapes; and I ereby declaro that the following is a fui, clear and exact description of the invention, which will enabie others skiiied in the art to which it api pertains to make anduse the same, reference eing had to the accompanying drawings, and to the figures of reference marked thereon which form partof this specification.

This invention relates to and has for its ob'ect to provide a means for keeping a reeor of the severed sections of coin-register tages.

Since each eposit is recorded upon the tape, the amount of money turned in by the collector must correspond with the record thereon. To properly assemble these detached portions or sections of tape and keep them in convenient form for record and ready reference is the ob 'ect of my invention.

The manner of mounting the severed sections o the tape is indicated in Fig. 2, the first severed section of the tape being shown at 3. The upper end of this section of tape fis suitably secured by an adhesive to the tcp of the iirst column on the left-hand side of the card. To secure the lower end of the severed section I employ a sticker of paper (shown detached in Flg. 3) having a gummed back and havin the face thereof gummed at the ends at 4. g1`he free end of the section 3 of the. tape is now secured to the sticker to expose the severed edge 5, and the sticker is then secured to the card. In like manner the next severed section of the tape is secured at its upper end to the sticker to expose its severed ed e, the continuation oi the tape being shown y the consecutive numbers and also by careful inspection of the severed edges,

Upon the sticker are rovid suitable spaces for the entry of the dJate on which a collection was made the amount ci the collection, the number oi the consecutive numbers on each severed section, and the name of the collector, the letter being preferably indicated by initials. In this manner the various sections of the tape asthey are turned in are conveniently assembled for ready reference. 0n both faces of the card 1 are also rovided a suitablespace 6 to show in tabu ated form the various data contained on the several stickers. At the top of this space may be indicated the number of the card for t e purpose of inde the telephone-number the name of the su scriber, the number of the subscriber or station, and such other data as may be found essential or convenient.

The novelt utility, and advantages of the herein-descriged means for keeping a comlete and positive record of the collections om tape-re isters will be ap arent.

Although have specifica ly described 'a preferred means for carr g out my invention, I do not desire to bldlthereby limited, since it is ap arent that modifications and changes may e made therein and the invention appropriated in such away as not to constitute a substantial departure.

Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s-

1. .In a means for keeping a record of the severed sections of coin-re ister tapes, a card having a continuous spira -like pathway for the ta e indicated thereon.

2. 111); a means for keeping a record of the severed sections of coin-register tapes, a card having a pathway for the tape indicated on both of its faces and continuous throughout.

3. In a means for keeping a record of the severed sections of coin-register tapes, a card provided with a series of columns on both of its faces, the said columns being slightly inclined and registering at the ends so as to provide a continuous spiral-like pathway for the ta e.

I. In a means for keeping a record of the severed sections of coin-register ta es, a card having a continuous athway for t e tape indicated thereon, an a sticker for securing the tape-sections, having a gummed back to adhesively secure the same to the card and having the face thereof gummed at the ends to secure the severed ends of the tape-sections thereto, the face of said sticker being ungummed between the ends adapted to receive the ends of the tape-sections to permit the entry thereon of 'suitable identifying data, substantially as described.
